by, Corey Wells
You become what you think about… This great phrase was said by Earl Nightingale in his fantastic recording “The Strangest Secret.” It has been said many times in many different ways over the course of mankind but no matter how you say it, the message remains the same. What we think about becomes a reality in our lives.
What this means is, if we constantly tell ourselves things like, “Things never work out for me!” or “I’ll never make more money!” or “I can’t do that!” This will turn out to be the truth!
Whatever your consistent thoughts are, good, bad or indifferent, that is what you can usually expect as the outcome.
So, if your life can be controlled by your thoughts, why not pick the thoughts you want to have? For instance, tell yourself “Good things always happen to me!” Or tell yourself, “I can do anything I set my mind to, no matter what it is. If I want it I’ll get it!”
When you feed your mind with positive thoughts you have the ability to shape and control your destiny.
Let’s get started.
- “ Nothing is more deceitful than the appearance of humility. It is often only carelessness of opinion, and sometimes an indirect boast.”
-Jane Austen, - “All we see of someone at any moment is a snapshot of their life, there in riches or poverty, in joy or despair. Snapshots don’t show the million decisions that led to that moment.”
-Richard Bach, - “For knowledge itself is power.”
-Francis Bacon, - “A man without ambition is dead. A man with ambition but no love is dead. A man with ambition and love for his blessings here on earth is ever so alive.”
-Pearl Bailey, - ” Happiness is a small and unworthy goal for something as big and fancy as a whole lifetime, and should be taken in small doses.”
-Russell Baker - “No one means all he says, and yet very few say all they mean, for words are slippery and thought is vicious. “
-Henry Adams, - “A handful of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains.””
Danish Proverb - “It’s a helluva start, being able to recognize what makes you happy.”
-Lucille Ball
